Internationally famous singer Sharika released a song in January 2023 roasting her ex-husband, Spanish football player Gerard Piqué. As part of the lyrics, she mentioned Twingo to denote inferiority comparting it to a more luxurious car. We saw this as an opportunity to turn the situation around and leverage it to boost the engagement on our social media. Knowing that Shakira had launched Twingo in Colombia in 1995 and that model had a big fanbase in the country, the objective was to generate an authentic organic response from Twingo fans in Colombia and the rest of the world and become an instant tending topic.
